SVP, Strategy and Business Development

Most recently, as SVP, Strategy and Business Development for the Retail Payments Solution Group, Ijaz Anwar’s presents was felt at Fidelity National Information Services Inc.  In this role, he launched a group of ground-breaking products, including a new mobile RDC check to GPR prepaid card solution that was picked as one of the most year’s four most innovative products by the Center for Financial Services Innovation.  This business unit had 18 of the United States 25 top retailers as clients who were Apple, Home Depot, Staples and Macy’s.

Product Innovation and Revenue Growth

Before, Ijaz Anwar ran the cash access division for the same company where he managed a fast growing organization while integrating a newly acquired business and again introduced an award-winning product – a Payroll Check Accept solution used by institutions such as Old National, Fifth Third and Urban Trust Bank.

Product innovation has been a significant factor in Ijaz Anwar’s success, but he has also consistently increased revenue gains and profit improvements with solid business planning, integrated process improvement initiatives, new systems implementations and great team leadership. For example, Ijaz led a full turnaround at FastFunds Financial Corporation, transforming a money-losing entity into a desirable acquisition target with strong revenue growth and solid profit margins.
